Total Reclaim Systems

Total Reclaim Systems - Company Profile

Total Reclaim Systems were formed in 1998, specifically to develop equipment and techniques which would greatly improve mud pit and tank cleaning on offshore oil rigs and production platforms.

Total Reclaim Systems designed and built a series of specialist air and electrically operated, jetting and vacuum pumps designed to pump heavy, solids and barite-laden hydrocarbon based fluids and slurries from mud pits. Our equipment and methodology reduces the volume of waste fluids created, reduces manual handling, ensures total containment and reduces personnel numbers involved in mud pit and tank cleaning operations.

The Total Reclaim Systems pump range was designed to be a vast improvement over the diaphragm pumps typically used for these applications.

Total Reclaim Systems supply our jetting and vacuum pumps and associated equipment on a long-term, or ad-hoc rental basis for "own use" by the customer. Total Reclaim Systems also supply experienced supervisors and crews to manage and execute mud pit and tank cleaning offshore and onshore.

In recognition of the risks and dangers associated with mud pit and tank cleaning operations, such as trip hazards, noxious fumes, manual handling and contamination, Total Reclaim Systems developed their award-winning "No man-entry" PitGun System. This equipment removes "dead volume" OBM (Oil based mud), or fluids, breaks down and slurrifies compacted barite and solids, removes the slurry from the mud pit or tank and finally cleans the mud pit or tank, often without the need for personnel to enter the tank. The PitGun no man entry system is unique in the industry.
