Mud Pit and Tank Cleaning
Since preparing these pages our pit cleaning processes have evolved and developed through the use of PitBull and our latest lightweight PitGun, to be introduced imminently. A final “polish” may be applied with an automated tank washing device.
The basic pit cleaning operation has not changed but the combination of PitBull and the continuing development of no man entry systems has further improved reduction of waste and safety.

Our personnel are generally, experienced drill-crew members, with our senior supervisors recruited from Derrickman level or above.
Total Reclaim System's Supervisors may conduct a one-day Mud-System survey on location, which will:
- Assess current methodologies and practices used on the location for mud system clean-ups.
- Advise operational procedures and improvements which will save time, reduce costs and manpower.
- Assess current chemicals in use for cleaning and waste removal.
- Advise on the best methods to minimise waste fluids and material
- Advise the best use and applications for the TRS equipment for a multitude of roles around the rig.
- Assess the suitability and requirements of the rig for 'No-man-entry' pit cleaning.
- Advise the requirements and methodology for TRS Reclaim Pump 'Brine-transfers'
- Assess the use of TRS equipment for Riser pumping operations.
