Stage 4 - Recycling the wash down fluid
When the mud pit has been cleaned the contaminated cleaning fluid is recovered to the recycling unit or tote tank
If required for multiple pit cleaning, the the fluid may then be pumped through a hydrocyclone unit to remove most of the solids.
It may become necessary to change out the cleaning fluid in the recycling unit when it becomes too heavily contaminated or if a final clean water flush is required.
The contaminated fluid may then be transferred from the recycling unit into a tote tank
