Stage 2 - Re-fluidise remaining Dead Volume with base oil or Micro-emulsion
If the dead volume has not been fully recovered during stage one for reasons of viscosity, the remaining dead volume may be re-fluidised using base oil.
The base oil may be transferred to the recycling tank and pumped through the jetting guns to break down the viscosity.
The fluidised OBM will then be flushed towards the suction point with the PitGun floor jets and transferred to the active or reserve fluid system or backloaded.
