The Reclaim Pump

The Reclaim vacuum and jetting pump (See Reclaim specifications) may be air operated, or electrically operated. These may be ATEX or Zone 1 certified pumps .

The Reclaim pump is the "bigger brother" of the Muddy pump and is generally used for heavier duty applications in mud pit and tank cleaning, jetting, brine transfer, emergency cuttings transfer, chemical dosing, chemical and fluid mixing, riser pumping and heavy fluid transfer pumps. The Reclaim pump has been used for pumping heavy fluids such as cesium formate from the brine tanks to the kill tanks, when the rig's centrifugal pumps and diaphragm pumps could not perform this operation. It has also been used for pumping fluids over 100' vertical distance through a 4-inch line. Lost circulation material (LCM) has been transferred and the Reclaim pump has also been used to bypass the CRI (Cuttings re-injection) unit while repairs have been carried out on the CRI unit. The Reclaim pump may also be used as a very effective pump for driving rotating head wash units and whizzy heads.

The Reclaim pump has been used in a number of diving applications involving clearing and transfer pumping, silts from harbours and Water Authority sites.

The air operated Reclaim pump operates from the rig air supply and has a very small footprint. Also available is the electric Reclaim pump, which operates from the rig, or platform's three phase electric supply. The Reclaim pump is available to Zone 1 and ATEX standards.

The Reclaim Pump is the heart of the Total Reclaim Systems PitGun equipment.
