The TRS Reclaim Pump and its smaller counterpart the Muddy Pump have been integrated into oilfield operations in the UK as the preferred mobile pump for recovery of heavy or solids laden fluids on many locations. Originally used to recover OBM from mudpits when total containment became the order of the day, Reclaim pumps with their high vacuum suctions and high pressure delivery have found use in the transfer of many different types of difficult fluid. For example, Cesium Formate (sg 2.2) emergency cuttings transfer, brine pumping and many others.
If required the pumps are easily stripped down, manhandled and reassembled in confined spaces. They are used for cleaning out complete mud systems as well as lifting heavy mud from deep pits. From a modest start in the southern UK gas sector with one electric pump in 1998, the range continues to extend and improve to the point where today the options available cover the range listed below. The company ethos dictates that if there is a customer application we do not currently cover, we will adapt, modify or source a unit suitable to your needs.
Eductors have been added to the range to facilitate emptying of deep tanks and pits from the top without man entry.
As well as oilfield applications, Reclaim and Muddy Pumps have applications in a wide range of industries including land and subsea dredging, high pressure jetwashing and cleaning up dousing water after fires.

Technical Notes:
- All performance figures are based on water at 20 deg C
- The above performance figures were achieved with an air supply at 6 bar @ 250cfm delivered through a 1" airline.
- For Pneumatic Reclaim units air supply up to 7 bar, 600cfm delivered through a 2" airline may be used to improve performance if required.
- 13/300 refers to rated power and head speed
- f1= flow rate at 2 bar delivery head. f2 = flow rate at max pressure
- Max pressure is the maximum rated operating pressure.
